Well, you could literally knock me down with a feather. How did we get here so quickly? Did we blink and miss something? The final term of the year is actually here, the term when we work or socks off (have a little fun) and say a final farewell to the students. For those visiting this blog from overseas, our school year is different to those in the northern hemisphere where the end of the calendar year is the middle of the school year. Here in Australia our calendar year and school year are the same. However, we’re not quite there yet! This may be the first week back after the two week break, but we’ve already started our new Math project, our stop-motion animation, a podcast, percentage lessons, sports training… There’s still so much to do! We’ll also soon be starting our rehearsals for the graduation ceremony, the day when the school gathers to celebrate our leaving students and to say a sad, tearful goodbye. It’s going to be a hectic, exciting, challenging and emotional ten weeks, ten weeks that the students and teachers will remember for a long time.
