As final weeks go this is certainly one of the tightest. The end of term naturally means there are a lot of things needing to be finished and it always ends up being a bit of a race, but that doesn’t stop us trying to squeeze in a few new, extra activities and events. This week we wrote off pretty much a whole day due to it being school photo day. Not only did we have class photos, but we also had photos for the netball team, cricket team, football team, faction captains, athletics captains, school choir… It lasted the whole day; the early smiles ultimately faded and the hair ended up a little ragged from the constant changing of shirts! If this wasn’t enough we also had a golf clinic visit us. There was lots of swinging, missing, huffs, screams, foot stomps and laughs. It isn’t something we often get to do so, despite my stress related, ever increasing grey hair, it was well worth the time.
